Medway Pride CIC a Community Organisation

Medway Pride CIC is a not for profit community organisation which aims to promote equality, diversity and inclusion across all communities of Medway for the public benefit and in particular the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity especially for those living in Medway and the surrounding areas in particular but not exclusively by:

1) Raising awareness and educating the public about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Agender/Asexual (LGBTQIA+) people.

2) Cultivating a sentiment in favour of an inclusive society though Equality, Diversity and Inclusion of all people, in particular through celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community.

3) Staging an annual LGBTQIA+ pride festival and smaller events, including exhibitions about community history and culture and regular social events for the LGBTQIA+ community in a safe environment throughout the year.

Medway Pride promote community events that invite all Medway communities to come together to support diversity and Inclusion for everyone, with the LGBTQIA+ communities of Medway.

Medway Pride CIC is a community project organised by volunteers and LGBTQIA+ people living or working in Medway.
