What can you bring to Medway Pride

Not sure you can bring a particular thing to Pride? Ask yourself this question? Could it be used to hurt someone. If the answer is yes. Leasve it at home. Simples

Glass & Crockery. You can not bring in: Glass containers of any kind. these items will be confiscated at the gate. e.g. bottles, jars, jugs etc. real crockery e.g. crockery, drinking glasses, tea cups. Glass fragrence bottles.
You can howevery bring: glass bottles of medication (bring prescription). Your specs, binoculars, cameras. small make up mirrors

Shade & SHelter, You cannot bring in ( these items will be confiscated at the gate. ) Adult size tents, gazebos, Unless a stall holder) Beach unbrellas, adult size beach shades, inflatable shelters. You can however bring in : small beach tent for kinds, camoing chair shades, baby buggy shades, personal parasols/umbrellas, rain ponchos.

Drugs and medication.
You cannot bring in ( these items will be confiscated at the gate. ) Any illegal drugs
Any leagal highs that includes Nitrous Oxide
Any Alcohol.
You can howevenr bring in
Prescription medication (bring prescription)
over the counter medicines e.g. pain relief, indigestion tablets etc.(no glass)
Cigars, cigarettes and vapes.

Thing on wheels, you cannot bring in ( these items will be confiscated at the gate. ) bicycles, ebikes, scooters, escooters, skateboards.
You can however bring in
Baby buggies, mobility scooters, wheeld walkers, small wheeld trollies

Food and Drink
You cannot bring in these items will be confiscated at the gate. Alcohol, Thermos containing hot drinks, glassware, real crockery or metal cutlery, barbecues.
You can however bring in
As much food as you like, empty water bottles, unopend water bottles, unopend soft drinks in plastic bottles or cans, disposable / reusable picnicware.

Babies & Accesories
You can bring in anything you need to keep baby safe and happy, as long as its not made of glasss. Things like: Baby buggy, Naby bag, baby bottles, nappies, wet wipes, food in pouches or tubs (no glass) baby tents and shades
etc, etc, etc.

Entry to the event
Tickets will be scanned at the gate, Tickets can be on paper or your digital device (Phone), Bags will be searched, prohibited items will be confiscated at the gate. Confiscated items will be set to one side, but we can;t guarantee their safe return. You can leave the castle and return but you will need to que to be searched to get back in.
